Skilled Worker salary thresholds

A Skilled Worker salary has to clear two separate published figures at once: the general threshold, and the going rate for the occupation code. The rules also allow certain discounts. This shows all of them beside the salary you enter.

What it does
Compares a salary against the published general threshold and the going rate you enter, applying the tradeable-point discounts the rules allow.

Discounts aren't cumulative. The Home Office applies the most favourable single discount. New entrant > PhD STEM > Immigration Salary List.

You will need the going rate

The going rate is set per occupation code, so it is not something this tool can look up for you — you enter it. The job and salary lookup will find the code and its published rate.
